I am a fierce advocate for women’s and children’s rights—especially when they have been victims of abuse or domestic violence. But I also bring the perspective of having been raised by a loving single father. Therefore, I make it a point to approach every new client and matter with an open and curious mind, a lack of any preconceived notions or assumptions, and the desire to learn and consider the whole story—something I feel will ultimately benefit the entire family I am working with, especially any children.
Whitney Keltch Green is passionate about the practice of family law and helping her clients through crisis. She brings a sense of creativity, compassion, and tenacity to all of her cases—which involve divorce, child custody/support disputes, modification of prior orders, adoptions, premarital agreements, and enforcements, among other issues. While she has great success crafting customized agreements to serve her clients, she is also always ready to take matters to Court when necessary or strategically beneficial for her client.
Whitney has particular experience in complex child custody disputes and other cases involving children with unique issues, such as parental alienation, addiction concerns, grandparents’ rights, special needs children, and situations involving mental health issues and experts. Additionally, she has experience with complex property division disputes involving business ownership interests, trusts, mineral rights, company stocks, tracing of separate property, and characterization. Whitney regularly works with forensic accountants and other outside experts to analyze competing business values, as well as whether a business has been used as a conduit to hide or misappropriate funds.”
Clients appreciate Whitney’s level of preparation, her responsiveness, and her willingness to keep them informed. Perhaps above all, they know they can count on her to provide them with reassurance and guidance during what are no doubt some of the most stressful times of their lives.
Reflecting the excellence of her practice, Whitney has been selected to the Best Lawyers in America in Family Law. She has been named among D Magazine’s Best Lawyers Under 40 in Dallas and selected to the list of Texas Rising Stars by Thomson Reuters, honoring the most highly regarded young attorneys in the state. She has also received a 10.0 “Superb” rating by AVVO.com, which is the organization’s highest rank. Whitney was elected by her peers in 2020 to serve as the 2021 President for the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, which provides significant services and programming for over 3,000 lawyers. During her year as President, she created meaningful presentations on mental health, adapted to pandemic concerns by passing necessary protocols and “reopening” certain events to in-person attendance, enacting an anti-harassment policy for the organization, and supporting all other pre-existing mentoring, CLE, social media, and leadership initiatives.
